Calvin Coolidge

“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence.
Talent will not; nothing is more commonthan unsuccessful people with talent.
Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.
Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.
The slogan 'press on' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.”

Leah Curtin had several quotes that inspired me when she presented Leadership of the Spirit during IdeaConnect in June.  Some of the quotes Leah used that I love are:

"... The Soul of a profession is found in the character of the men and women who work within it... " Karl Meninger

" Never doubt the capacity of the people you lead to accomplish whatever you dream for them." Benjamin Zander, Conductor, Boston Philharmonic Orchestra
